Margaret & Gerry Gagel opened CheeseWorld in Goomeri on
30 October 2003. Motza, the mascot, just came along for the ride.
A Deli in Sale, Vic, inspired us; we enjoyed their fine range of Gippsland cheeses.

We are often asked “why Goomeri?” Wine and cheese are a natural pairing; the South Burnett wine region is less than 20km away and three highways converge here to provide us with lots of passing business.

We enjoy our customers’ company and still love it!
